About Us

Founder – Howard Mitchell
Howard took a giant leap of faith and started what would become Mitchell & Nemitz, PA in 1989. He grew the firm to what it is today as the managing partner of the firm for 26 years before retiring from managing the firm to spend more time with his family. Howard’s daily duties now involve tax planning and preparation, and accounting services; many of Howard’s clients have been working with him for over 25 years. Howard holds a BS of Business Administration from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During his free time, Howard enjoys sporting events, being at his lake house, and spending time with his family.

Mitchell & Nemitz, PA is the longest serving firm in the greater Wake Forest, North Carolina area. As such, we are deeply invested in the community that we serve and dedicated to helping its businesses and individuals succeed.
