Regimental Flag began as a bet between a friend, and I. My contention was that I could print a better t-shirt than the ones we had purchased to sell for a fundraising project. Little did I know that this friend had some old broken down t-shirt printing equipment that he wanted to get rid of. I was a sucker and took him up on the bet. Thus, in the fall of 1995, I went into the screen printing business, converting an old farm storage building, on our family farm, into a screen printing shop.
In 1997, we purchased a new Antec multi head screen printing press and began doing multi-color screen printing utilizing newer technology to produce much more vivid and colorful designs than I was previously able to produce.
In 2004, due to the demand for embroidery along with screen printing, we purchased a single head Happy embroidery machine.
In 2012 we expanded into a 1800 square foot building to house all the screen printing equipment . We then upgraded to a 10 station 8 head M &R Gauntlet automatic screen printing press increasing the company’s speed and capabilities to handle ALL jobs from a few dozen shirts to several hundred.
In 2013 the company purchased two additional Happy embroidery machines, one twelve head machine and one four head machine. We moved our embroidery operations to a separate building in order to enhance the embroidery capabilities and protect the delicate mechanical thread mechanisms of the embroidery machines; this increased the company’s capability to handle larger embroidery orders in a more timely fashion.
